New York State recently announced plans to expand CTI throughout the state. As part of multi-pronged initiative to community support for persons with serious mental illness, the state has allocated over $92 million to develop 26 new CTI teams throughout the state. This represents the largest investment to date by a state mental health authority… The initiative seeks to expand the availability of CTI for persons following discharge from inpatient psychiatric care.
